One Week Teen Internship

Join Our Summer Service Learning Internship!
Each day students will go on chaperoned field trips to different JASA locations and participate in activities with/supporting older adults. We will meet each morning at our office on 247 West 37th Street and take field trips to various locations throughout the city.
This opportunity is open to students age 12-18. The registration fee of $400 will include lunch, snacks and beverages each day. Chaperones will be taking students on subways and buses to JASA locations around the city. (Prior participation in the JASANextGen program is not a prerequisite, but preference will be given to current participants.) Scholarships will be available. Space is limited.
Activities include:
- Visiting affordable senior housing
- Serving lunch at an older adult center
- Joining senior classes including art and exercise
- Teaching technology and social media skills
- Supporting a corporate volunteer event
- Meeting with JASA leadership to explore various career paths
