Grandparent Program
JASA’s Grandparent Connection Program, a caregiver program serving Co-op City in the Bronx, supports older adults who are the primary caregivers of their grandchild or a younger family member. In most cases, the custody arrangement occurs because the child’s parents are deceased or incarcerated. The role of a caregiver can be complicated and hard to navigate. JASA provides monthly support groups, counseling, events, and assistance accessing benefits.
