ABOUT
For more than 30 years, JASA NextAct (formerly Sundays at JASA) has offered college-level continuing education for seniors. For the past five years, the program has included virtual courses serving students nationwide and abroad. And now NextAct offers cultural excursions for seniors throughout the city. We maintain a belief that learning continues throughout a lifetime.
MISSION
JASA NextAct’s main mission is to bring the senior community together through academics and culture. Offering a host of humanities-based course offerings to challenge and delight students as we strive to exercise our intellectual and cultural curiosity. Through a series of courses and excursions throughout the city, participants have an opportunity to access life’s rich pageant guided by an excellent array of instructors and guides along the way.
NextAct provides an opportunity for experiences within a diverse community, and we hope our students can find something that satisfies their own path of personal growth.
OPEN HOUSE EVENT
Join us on March 1, 2026, at Loyola School, located at 980 Park Ave. (entrance on 83rd Street), New York, NY, for our annual pre-semester Open House. Meet instructors, register for classes and cultural excursions, and learn more about NextAct while enjoying light fare and beverages. This is the perfect opportunity to meet students, explore our new space for in-person classes, and mingle. This event starts promptly at 11:00am-12:30pm.
