Elder Abuse 101

This workshop focuses on red flags that can indicate the presence of possible abuse or exploitation. Participants will learn best practices for addressing the abuse and working effectively with victims. Information will be provided on how to work with clients who are victims of financial exploitation and scams. Issues and strategies regarding protecting clients’ welfare through correct use of the Power of Attorney instrument will also be discussed.
