This workshop will focus on the ways that social distancing and quarantine mandates, as well as fear and self isolating behaviors, increase risk factors for trauma symptoms.  These factors may also increase the incidence and risk of  elder abuse itself.  The presenter will explore how practitioners may identify the risk signs, provide support and actively intervene to mitigate the impact of COVID-19 related exacerbating factors.
