Past Workshops: JASA Elder Justice Training Institute Series
Thousands of older adults in New York are abused, neglected, and exploited every year, and the number is growing. JASA’s Elder Justice Training Institute is an interdisciplinary program, which improves the understanding of and response to the various forms of elder abuse. The Institute educates social service, health, legal, and financial professionals as well as the public.
These workshops are made possible through a partnership between JASA and the Lifespan of Greater Rochester, Inc. and is funded in part by Monroe County Office for the Aging, New York State Office for the Aging, US Administration on Aging, Lifespan of Greater Rochester, and participant contributions.
