This workshop aims to equip professionals who work with older adults with essential knowledge about financial scams. It will highlight the crucial role that banks and financial institutions play in educating the community and providing resources on how to engage with clients about these scams. The focus will also be on empowering older adults by sharing effective strategies they can implement to protect themselves from potential scams, whether they come from caretakers or strangers. Participants will learn about services available to support those affected by scams, fostering a safer environment for older adults.
